NBA First Half Awards
With the season just over halfway done, let's look at the major awards. Feel free to disagree but it's James Hardens world right now and we're just living in it.
Seth Rollins is undoubtedly one of the best wrestlers in the WWE today. He has won loads of Championships across the globe, and, has defeated almost every wrestler he came across. Currently, he is the Intercontinental Champion on RAW and is feuding with Dean Ambrose.
However, the WWE Universe would love to see their favorite wrestler holding the most prestigious title on the show. Rollins is definitely a future Universal Champion. Here are some reasons, why he can win the title in 2019.
5. Face that Runs the place
Monday night RAW, right now is missing the presence of wrestlers like John Cena and Roman Reigns, who were projected as the face of the show. Cena has become a part timer, who shows up once or twice a year and Reigns is suffering from Leukemia. Therefore, it would be absolutely picture perfect to make Rollins the Universal Champion.
Unlike Brock Lesnar, he will be able to carry the entire RAW roster on his shoulders and not be a liability for them. He is a street smart wrestler, and, has a lot of experience. Therefore, Rollins could be an asset to the company. He deserves to be the Universal Champion.
4. Make Universal Championship interesting
The Universal Championship, despite being a World Champion, has lost all credibility. Brock Lesnar has demeaned the value of the priceless title. If anyone can bring the title its lost glory, and, the respect it deserves, it is none other than Seth Rollins.
Rollins has held almost the Championships in WWE. Whenever he laid his hands upon any title, he made sure it becomes the most talked about title in WWE. He is a fighting Champion and has defended his title multiple times. No doubt, he should be an excellent Universal Champion.
3. Boost TRP and Viewership
RAW is losing popularity with each and every episode. It needs to do something out of the box, to regain its lost glory. The only possible option is to make Rollins the new Universal Champion. Rollins has been a former WWE Champion, but, his reign ended abruptly. However, given his track records in the past, he should be the next Universal Champion. This would be 'good for business'.
Rollins can highhandedly do everything possible to make RAW the number one show. He is the best Champion in the WWE today. The 'kingslayer' possesses an excellent in-ring skills and can be outstanding with the microphone as well. Therefore, he can be the next Universal Champion.
2. Excellent track record as Champion
Rollins's track record as a Champion in WWE, in unparalleled compared to any other wrestler. He is a future Hall of Famer and can pull out excellent moves in the ring. He is a grandslam Champion and has accomplished a helluva lot of achievements.
If he becomes the Universal Champion, he can keep open challenges and can make it the workhorse of RAW. He can deliver dream matches and can also headline PPVs. Brock Lesnar has made the Universal title poorly rated. However, Rollins can become the longest reigning Champion ever.
1. New Rivalries and story-lines
The story-lines and feuds in the recent episodes of RAW has become monotonous and one-dimensional. It has been boring, and nothing interesting is currently on the cards. The scenario can change fully, and, take a 180 degree turn once Rollins become the Universal Champion.
He can feud with the likes of Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre and several others. That would be really good for WWE, considering it will garner more crowd reaction. It would thus be a masterstroke on their part to make Reigns the new Universal Champion.
