A decade ago when then Boston Celtics won the NBA title, Kevin Garnett said, “Anything's Possible.” Well the Boston Celtics continue to defy the odds and they rallied to win Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers 107-94. The Celtics also outscored the Cavaliers 59-39 in the second half. Boston leads series 2-0.

The last time the Boston Celtics had a 2-0 series lead on the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston won it all and that was also the last time Lebron James has trailed 2-0 in an eastern conference series. Lebron's team is facing a 2-0 deficit for the third consecutive season.

Despite the loss, Lebron recorded another playoff triple-double with 42 points on 55.2 percent shooting and he also grabbed 10 rebounds and recorded 12 assists. Kevin Love recorded a double-double for the Cleveland Cavaliers with 22 points on 50 percent shooting and 15 rebounds. The rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers team had 30 combined points. Kyle Korver scored 11 points off the bench and the supporting cast was horrendous.

Six players on the Boston Celtics scored in double digits. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics in scoring with 23 points on 50 percent shooting. He also grabbed seven rebounds, recorded three assists, and had a steal. Terry Rozier scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds. Al Horford recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. He was also a factor on defense with two blocks and two steals.

Marcus Morris started for the second consecutive game for the Celtics and he scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds. Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart each scored 11 points, but Smart recorded nine assists.

The Boston Celtics are now 9-0 at home to start the 2018 postseason. Lebron James got injured near the end of the second-quarter when he collided with Jayson Tatum and Lebron's head was banged by Tatum's arm. That was not one of the reasons why the Cleveland Cavaliers lost in Game 2.

They lost focus and that is the reason why they are in this 0-2 hole. The last time Cleveland came back from 0-2 hole? The 2016 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors and they won that series in seven games. The Cleveland Cavaliers biggest lead in the game was 11 points. The Boston Celtics biggest lead in the game was 15 points.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will have the next few days to try and figure out how to get back in this series and the Boston Celtics will try and figure out how to possibly sweep the Cleveland Cavaliers out of the playoffs and end Lebron James's run at seven straight trips to the NBA Finals. Game 3 will be on Saturday Night in Cleveland.
