There was a reason why the Houston Rockets decided to trade for point guard Chris Paul this past offseason. It was in order for him to help out James Harden and the rest of the team in big moments. Chris Paul scored 27 points and he made 12-of-23 shots in a 100-87 win in Game 4 for the Houston Rockets over the Utah Jazz. Houston leads this series 3-1.

Paul also grabbed 12 rebounds and he recorded six assists. He was also effective on the defensive side of the floor with one steal and one block. James Harden scored 24 points. He made 8-of-22 shots and Harden grabbed four rebounds and recorded three assists. Harden turned the ball over eight times. He also had four steals.

Clint Capela was a major x-factor in Game 4 for the Houston Rockets. He scored 15 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, blocked six shots, and had two steals. Capela was a beast on both ends for the floor and he was outstanding as a rim protector once again. Capela saved the Rockets from losing this game on defense because he contested many shots.

P.J. Tucker scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Houston's bench was quiet for the most part in Game 4 and they only scored 20 bench points. Eric Gordon only scored nine of those points and he struggled from the field. He only made three shots on 10 attempts and six of those shots attempted were 3's and Gordon only made one of them.

Donovan Mitchell was the Utah Jazz's leading scorer with 25 points on 8-of-24 shooting. He grabbed nine rebounds and recorded four steals. Mitchell fouled out of the game in the fourth-quarter and the crowd gave him a standing ovation for his effort.

Joe Ingles scored 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting and he also grabbed eight rebounds and recorded four assists. Rudy Gobert recorded another double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Jazz.

Utah scored 23 bench points and Dante Exum and Raul Neto each scored nine points off the bench. Exum left the game in the third-quarter with a non-contact leg injury and he didn't return. The Jazz didn't have Ricky Rubio and they now lost Exum. It is unknown how serious his leg injury is. Point guard Ricky Rubio hasn't played a game in this series because of a hamstring injury he suffered in the last round against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 6.

The Houston Rockets will look to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the second time in four years. Game 5 will be on Tuesday Night in Houston.
