DFS NHL: Stack Em Up February 8, 2018

Our top stack last night hit, as Kopitar and Doughty each had 2 points, and our sleeper goalie allowed only 1 goal on 22 shots, and picked up the win. Here is today's stacks and goalies.

Top Line Stacks

New York Islanders

Beauvillier($4,500 FD, $5,100 DK) –Tavares($8,200 FD, $7,500 DK)- Bailey($6,800 FD, $6,300 DK) Tonight’s top stack are the New York Islanders. They get to face the Buffalo Sabres tonight, who are near the bottom in the league in goals allowed. The Islanders are 7-1-2 in their last 10 games vs Buffalo, while averaging 3.20 goals per game. In the last three games vs Buffalo, the Islanders have scored no less than 3 goals, and have a total of 13 goals. Tavares and Bailey are both in the top 20 in the NHL in points. Tavares has 5 points, and Bailey has 4 points in 2 games vs Buffalo this season. Look for the Islanders to score 3+ goals tonight, and the Tavares line to produce points.

St. Louis Blues Steen($5,800 FD, $5,400 DK)-Stasny($5,300 FD, $5,100 DK) -Tarasenko($7,700 FD, $7,100 DK) Another good stack tonight are the St. Louis Blues, who take on the Colorado Avalanche. The Blues are 8-0-2 in their last 10 games vs the Avs, while averaging 3.20 goals per game. This line should be lower owned tonight as they have been struggling lately. This is a great bounce back spot for this line, as they do have the potential to explode on any night. Tarasenko is one of the best goal scorers in the league, as he has a respectable 21 goals this season. Steen and Stasny's value goes up being on the same line as Tarasenko. Steen and Tarasenko are on the first power play unit, which further increases their chance to produce, although the Blues PP% is fairly low. Look for the Blues to be able to score, and this line to produce.

Sleeper Stack:

Montreal Canadiens

Pacioretty($7,300 FD, $6,500 DK)- Byron($4,400 FD, $4,600 DK) - Hudon($3,700 FD, $4,300 DK)

Devan Dubnyk ($8,700 FD, $8,500 DK) Devan Dubnyk comes in as the top goalie option tonight vs the Coyotes. The Wild are massive favorites tonight, and they should be able to easily get Dubnyk the win. The Wild are 8-0-2 in their last 10 matchups vs Arizona. Dubnyk has allowed 2 goals in each of his last 3 games started, and has won each game. Dubnyk has a solid record of 21-10-3 this season, and Minnesota has been good this season. Dubnyk should be able to get the win tonight, and has major shutout upside.

Andrei Vasilevskiy ($9,200 FD, $8,400 DK) Andrei Vasilevskiy has been one of the top goalies all season long, and is another good option tonight vs the Canucks. Tampa Bay is another massive favorite, and he should be able to get the win tonight. Vasilevskiy is 31-10-2 with a 2.28 GAA this season. He may go lower owned tonight, as he has been struggling lately, allowing 3 goals or more in 3 of the last 4 games, and has allowed 3+ goals in 6 of his last 9 games. He makes for an intriguing option tonight, as Dubnyk will likely be a lot more popular. He always has a great chance at a win, playing on Tampa.

Sleeper Goalie: David Rittich ($7,800 FD, $7,500 DK)
