Is Kyrie Irving Planning to Leave the Celtics?
The Boston Celtics are worried that Kyrie Irving will leave instead of resign with them. Should the Celtics be worried?
The NFL playoffs are upon us and it is time to predict who will win the 2019 Super Bowl. There are a bunch of teams that are hot right now but only one of them will be the winner. Who will it be?
The most likeliest team to win the Super Bowl is the New Orleans Saints. It pains me to say this because I am a Atlanta Falcons fan and the Super Bowl is taking place in Atlanta. That would be a huge insult to the Falcons and will be written in stone forever.
This has been the Saints year. They have been dominant and almost unstoppable. There have been a few slip ups but they will be mentally prepared come playoff time. Drew Brees has been playing on an MVP level and he would love to cap it off with a championship.
One factor that may prevent the Saints to win is their defense. It hasn’t been good enough and when their offense struggles, the defense gives up too much points. That is why I don’t have the Saints winning the Super Bowl.
My pick to win it all is the Los Angeles Rams. They have looked great for most of the year and their defense hasn’t been as good as they can be but they get stops when needed. Defensive tackle Aaron Donald has been a bright spot for the Rams defense. He was the only player unanimously named to the First Team All-Pro.
Still, the Rams have thrived because of their head coach Sean McVay and quarterback Jared Goff. I think that the Rams have all the weapons to win the Super Bowl. They will have a tough schedule because NFC is tough this year. The Saints and the Chicago Bears have been playing great football and either of those teams can upset the Rams.
The AFC has some new faces and it is anyone’s to win this year. The Kansas City Chiefs are playing amazing football yet their defense has been their Achilles heel. Can their offense carry them all the way to the Super Bowl? Or will the defensive-minded Baltimore Ravens make a run with their rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson?
The headlines have been crazy this year and they will only get better. The playoffs separate the great teams from the good. And we still have a lot of football left to play.
