NFL Bold Predictions for the 2018 Season

In exactly one month from today, it will be the first Sunday of the NFL regular season. A lot of preseason games will be played on Thursday Night as well. It makes sense to talk about now what can happen during the 2018 regular season. I have made bold predictions before and I am about to make them again for each NFL team for the 2018 season.

AFC East: New England Patriots: Tom Brady shows age and he will throw at least 16 interceptions.

New York Jets: Sam Darnold throws for 4,000 yards and 35 touchdowns in his rookie season.

Miami Dolphins: Despite having a talented roster, they won't win more than four games because of bad quarterback play.

Buffalo Bills: They will have a bottom five offense.

AFC North: Pittsburgh Steelers: A lot of tension will occur inside the locker room and it will cause them to win 10 games or fewer and maybe miss the playoffs.

Baltimore Ravens: C.J. Mosley will lead the league in tackles.

Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals talent meshes early with a favorable schedule and they will make a run for the postseason.

Cleveland Browns: Nick Chubb will rush for 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns and also catch 40 passes for 500 yards and three touchdowns.

AFC South: Houston Texans: Deshaun Watson will be one of the three favorites to win the NFL MVP.

Tennessee Titans: They will lead the NFL in sacks.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Jalen Ramsey will pick off 10 passes.

Indianapolis Colts: Jack Doyle will become a pro bowl tight end with having Andrew Luck back.

AFC West: Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes becomes the quarterback the Chiefs think he will be and leads them to a Super Bowl appearance.

Los Angeles Chargers: Joey Bosa will break Michael Strahan's 22.5 sacks record set in 2001.

Denver Broncos: They upgraded the roster and they will go back to the postseason for the first time since winning Super Bowl L.

Oakland Raiders: Khalil Mack will get traded midseason.

NFC East: New York Giants: The offensive line is finally fixed, but the Giants get off to a slow start and fans start calling for Davis Webb to be the quarterback.

Philadelphia Eagles: Corey Clement will have more yards from scrimmage than Jay Ajayi.

Washington Redskins: Alex Smith will be the most sacked quarterback in the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will lead the Cowboys back to the playoffs for the second time in three seasons.

NFC North: Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings will win 13 games for the second straight season.

Green Bay Packers: Mike McCarthy gets fired by the end of the season because the Packers miss the playoffs for the second consecutive season.

Chicago Bears: The Bears upgraded the roster and they will win 10 games.

Detroit Lions: They won't win more than five games.

NFC South: New Orleans Saints: Michael Thomas will have the most receptions and yards in the NFL.

Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton, Christian McCaffrey, and C.J. Anderson will each have eight rushing touchdowns.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons don't win more than eight games.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Because of the Jameis Winston three-game suspension, they will start the season 0-3 and be the worst team in football.

NFC West: San Francisco 49ers: Jimmy Garoppolo wins the MVP award.

Seattle Seahawks: They only win four to five games at most and they don't bring head coach Pete Carroll back.

Los Angeles Rams: The Rams will have the top offense in the league.

Arizona Cardinals: Josh Rosen starts the first game for the Cardinals and he and Darnold share the Rookie of the Year Award.

I will check back with these predictions once the regular season is over. Enjoy watching the preseason and stay tuned next week for my NFL Predictions for the 2018 season.
