The playoff picture is starting to get more clear, but there is still a bunch of chaos that still has to be settle in the next four weeks. Some teams are hanging on for their playoff lives. There are a few teams that will look to play spoiler roles for the rest of the season.
The Green Bay Packers also decided to fire Mike McCarthy before the end of the season. I don't expect another coach to be fired before the end of the season at this point. My record with my picks last week was 8-8. My record is 110-80-2 so far this season.
Jacksonville Jaguars 13 Tennessee Titans 23: The Titans escaped with a win at home last week against the New York Jets and they trailed 16-0 at one point. Marcus Mariota needs to be sharper out of the get go. This is a big game for Tennessee as Jacksonville is looking to play the spoiler role again this season. The Tennessee Titans have had the Jacksonville Jaguars number as of late. The Titans defense should do wonders against the Jaguars offense.
New York Jets 10 Buffalo Bills 27: The Bills torched the Jets the last time they play each other. It was so bad that people called for Todd Bowles to be fired at halftime. Josh Allen played well last week and I expect him to again this week. Sam Darnold could be back for New York this week, but it could be an ugly one for him.
Carolina Panthers 21 Cleveland Browns 26: Something doesn't seem to be right with the Panthers right now and the Browns will take advantage of it. Baker Mayfield had a bad game last week on the road against the Houston Texans. He will bounce back this week and Nick Chubb will help him out. Cleveland's defense will be ready to show up to play.
Atlanta Falcons 34 Green Bay Packers 20: The Falcons catch the Packers at a good time. Green Bay is a mess right now. Aaron Rodgers is doing whatever he wants and it isn't showing good results. Matt Ryan will torch the Green Bay Packers defense.
Indianapolis Colts 21 Houston Texans 35: I don't expect the Colts to be shutout two weeks in a row. Andrew Luck will bounce back this week, but the defense will be tested early and often. The Texans have won nine straight games. Deshaun Watson is on a roll right now and Lamar Miller has been very underrated in their backfield.
Baltimore Ravens 13 Kansas City Chiefs 35: The Lamar Jackson experiment will not look pretty after this weekend. He will not be able to match point-for-point with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense. Baltimore has a better defense than Kansas City does, but the Ravens defense will be worn down this weekend.
New England Patriots 34 Miami Dolphins 13: Tom Brady hasn't thrown many touchdown passes as of late. Josh Gordon continues to be a headache. Sony Michel is good running the ball down hill. He is able to take pressure off of Brady. The defense will look good this week. The Patriots have a tough time down in Miami for some reason. They could get caught looking ahead because the New England Patriots play the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in Week 15.
New Orleans Saints 42 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 41: The last time these two teams met, Tampa Bay won a 48-41 game in Week 1 on the road. Jameis Winston will be the quarterback this time around. The Saints will have a tough time stopping him. Drew Brees will not put up two straight weeks of duds. They can't afford to lose this game if the New Orleans Saints want to be the number one seed in the NFC.
New York Giants 28 Washington Redskins 14: The Giants are 0-4 in the NFC East this season and this will be their best chance to win a game in the division this season. The Redskins will have Mark Sanchez as their starting quarterback because Colt McCoy is done for the season with a fractured fibula. Saquon Barkley will be a problem for Washington's defense. Eli Manning won't exactly light it up and Pat Shurmur is going to have to pull out a bag of tricks again for Odell Beckham Jr.
Cincinnati Bengals 13 Los Angeles Chargers 45: The Bengals defense is horrendous. This could be a possible trap game for the Chargers. Los Angeles will run wild even if they don't have Melvin Gordon. Philip Rivers is having the best year of his career. Cincinnati will have a few turnovers against a solid Los Angeles Chargers defense.
Denver Broncos 23 San Francisco 49ers 10: The Broncos lost Emmanuel Sanders and Chris Harris Jr. to injury, but it won't show this week against a weak 49ers team. Denver will cause havoc with Bradley Chubb and Von Miller. Phillip Lindsay has been tremendous in the running game.
Detroit Lions 27 Arizona Cardinals 23: The Lions have a better roster than the Cardinals do. Matthew Stafford and Josh Rosen will be a good quarterback match up. Arizona will do better on the ground, but Detroit has a better defense than the Arizona Cardinals do.
Philadelphia Eagles 31 Dallas Cowboys 28: This might be the biggest game of the season. The winner of this game will be in driver's seat to win the NFC East crown. Philadelphia was horrendous the last time against Dallas. The Cowboys defense is a lot better than the Eagles is right now. It is something about this game that will make Carson Wentz come up big and Dak Prescott will come up small.
Pittsburgh Steelers 45 Oakland Raiders 16: The Steelers will take care of business this weekend and they can't afford a third consecutive loss. Pittsburgh's offense will get going early and often. James Conner will be out this week and Jaylen Samuels will be the starting running back. Oakland's defense is bad. Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster should have a big week. Derek Carr will face a ferocious Pittsburgh Steelers pass rush.
Los Angeles Rams 22 Chicago Bears 26: This is going to be a game that makes the Bears comfortable and this is going to be a game that makes the Rams uncomfortable. Chicago will try to play tough defense in the cold weather against a tough Los Angeles offense. Todd Gurley better be ready to show up or it could be a long day for the Los Angeles Rams offense. Mitchell Trubisky will be back for the Chicago Bears offense. Aaron Donald will look to disrupt plays early and often.
Minnesota Vikings 21 Seattle Seahawks 23: This was the toughest game to pick from this weekend. It wouldn't surprise me if this game ended in a tie. Kirk Cousins needs to be better this week or many people will start to question if he is worth the money. Russell Wilson will show up when it matters the most for the Seahawks. Both defenses will show up and make plays. The difference in this game might be whoever has the ball last will win the game.
Bold Predictions: 1. The Titans will have six sacks.
2. Mitchell Trubisky out plays Jared Goff.
3. Carson Wentz throws for 350 yards and three touchdowns.
4. Josh Allen will have more rushing yards than the New York Jets combined.
5. The Chargers will have over 200 rushing yards.
