Is Kyrie Irving Planning to Leave the Celtics?
The Boston Celtics are worried that Kyrie Irving will leave instead of resign with them. Should the Celtics be worried?
Their is only one undefeated team remaining in the NFL entering Week 7 and that is the Los Angeles Rams. The Kansas City Chiefs were handed their first loss of the season last week on the road against the New England Patriots 43-40.
It is crazy to think six weeks of the NFL season is already over. For some teams, the season might even be over. The New York Giants and the Oakland Raiders are the two biggest dumpster fires in the NFL right now.
The Oakland Raiders, the Seattle Seahawks, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Green Bay Packers are all on a bye week this week. I went 7-8 with my picks last week. My record on the season is 47-44-2.
Denver Broncos 16 Arizona Cardinals 18: This was a tough game to pick from because both teams are not very good. I will go with the home team in this one. It has the potential to be a Thursday night dud. Denver can not stop the run and that means David Johnson should have a big night on the ground. Josh Rosen is also improving in every game.
Tennessee Titans 20 Los Angeles Chargers 30: The Titans offense is heading south in a hurry and the Chargers offense is heading north in a hurry. Los Angeles has play makers all over the field. Tennessee doesn't not. The Chargers are one of the most underrated and dangerous teams in the entire league right now. This game will be played in London.
New England Patriots 35 Chicago Bears 21: Let's face the facts. The New England Patriots are back in business and they will most likely win again on the road again this weekend. Chicago should have not lost to the Miami Dolphins on the road last week. This could maybe be the beginning of the downfall for them. Khalil Mack and the Bears could have problems forcing turnovers this week.
Buffalo Bills 10 Indianapolis Colts 28: The Bills without Josh Allen at quarterback will be a disaster. Derek Anderson or Nathan Peterman will be the starter. This could be a field day for the Colts defensively. Andrew Luck played well again last week and he will this week.
Houston Texans 20 Jacksonville Jaguars 16: The winner of this game will most likely be in first place in the AFC South. Just a few weeks ago, it looked like Houston was going to be in the basement and Jacksonville was going to be the best team in the division, but things look differently now. The difference in this game will be the offensive play by the Houston Texans. Blake Bortles is becoming suspect at best at quarterback.
Detroit Lions 21 Miami Dolphins 27: Brock Osweiler will be getting the start for the second consecutive week for the Miami Dolphins with quarterback Ryan Tannehill being sidelined with a shoulder injury for the second straight week. The Dolphins rallied to beat the Chicago Bears at home 31-28 in overtime. Osweiler completed 63.8 percent of his passes for 380 yards three touchdowns and two interceptions. He will be a difference maker again this week against the Detroit Lions.
Minnesota Vikings 31 New York Jets 17: Kirk Cousins will show rookie Sam Darnold this week how to get it done. The Vikings will rediscover itself this weekend on the road. The Jets are playing hard and Minnesota can not take this game lightly on the road. The Minnesota Vikings have the better skill players this game and will running back Dalvin Cook be back this week? Latavius Murray rushed for 155 yards on 24 carries and a touchdown in a 27-17 win at home last week against the Arizona Cardinals. It was Minnesota's first rushing touchdown of the year.
Carolina Panthers 20 Philadelphia Eagles 35: The Eagles will start to take off this week after a big win on the road last Thursday night against the New York Giants. Carson Wentz is starting to get going and it could be scary. The Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood backfield duo will also start to click with Jay Ajayi done for the season with a Torn ACL. The Carolina Panthers need a better start this week. They are a different team on the road compared to at home.
Cleveland Browns 21 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24: Jameis Winston was a beast in his first start of the season and he will be again this week. The Los Angeles Chargers humbled the Cleveland Browns last week. Baker Mayfield will have a bounce back week this week.
New Orleans Saints 27 Baltimore Ravens 26: This is the most difficult game to pick from this weekend. The Saints are coming off a bye. The Ravens had their best defensive performance of the year against the Tennessee Titans on the road last week. It wouldn't surprise me if Drew Brees were to struggle against this defense, but it wouldn't surprise me if he lit them up either. Joe Flacco will have another strong game against the Saints defense. Errors need to be minimized in this game.
Dallas Cowboys 24 Washington Redskins 23: This is a monster game in the NFC East. The winner of this game will most likely be in first place in the NFC East. Dallas poured it on against the Jacksonville Jaguars at home last week. Washington poured it on early against the Carolina Panthers, but they took the foot off the gas pedal and almost lost. Dak Prescott and Alex Smith will not decide this game. The difference in the game will be that Ezekiel Elliott will out rush the Washington Redskins running back by committee.
Los Angeles Rams 28 San Francisco 49ers 21: Jared Goff is a different quarterback on the road compared to when he is at home. Todd Gurley has been a work horse this season. He has bailed out the Los Angeles Rams a couple of times. C.J. Beathard played well on the road in a 33-30 loss against the Green Bay Packers on Monday night. The 49ers defense wasn't good down the stretch and won't be again this week.
Cincinnati Bengals 14 Kansas City Chiefs 24: The Cincinnati Bengals were robbed by the officials last week against the Steelers. Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill had a dangerous connection last week against the New England Patriots on the road. It will happen again this week. Kansas City has the worst defense in the NFL. Andy Dalton and the Bengals will put up some points, but they won't keep up with the Chiefs offense.
New York Giants 10 Atlanta Falcons 38: This game has the potential to get out of hand early. The Giants are a mess and ownership is only making it worse. Eli Manning will make the Atlanta Falcons defense look elite. Odell Beckham Jr. will continue his antics. Saquon Barkley will show up and play his game. Matt Ryan will get many opportunities to score touchdowns.
Bold Predictions: 1. David Johnson rushes for 250 yards and three touchdowns against the Denver Broncos.
2. Philip Rivers will throw for 400 yards and four touchdowns against the Tennessee Titans in London.
3. Brock Osweiler will amaze again and throw for 395 yards and four touchdowns against the Detroit Lions.
4. Ezekiel Elliott rushes for 195 yards and three touchdowns against the Washington Redskins.
5. The Atlanta Falcons offense will have 600 yards against the New York Giants.
