Joel Embiid Should be Considered an MVP Candidate
It is only January and a lot of people are talking about either James Harden or Giannis Antetokounmpo to win the MVP, but what about Joel Embiid?
John Cena is the greatest superstar that the pro-wrestling fraternity has ever witnessed. He has won hundreds of matches, defeating several superstars and winning multiple Championships in the WWE. He has become larger than life persona and is often cited as the best WWE Champion of all times. However, he is yet to win the Universal Championship in WWE.
Cena has won the WWE Championship thirteen times and the World Heavyweight Championship three times. He is thus a 16 time World Champion and holds the record along with Ric Flair. But, the ECW and the Universal titles (World Championships), that he has never held. The ECW title is deactivated and thus he should become the next Universal Champion.
Cena is a free agent and can compete on any brand. The current Universal Champion is Brock Lesnar. He is the Champion for more than a year. But, he is irregular and often does not show up on WWE.
Cena has feuded previously with Lesnar and the WWE Universe loved it. WWE should fix an encounter between these two duos. Both of them are capable of delivering high-voltage actions and a match between them would be fantastic.
The number one contender for the title is mostly Roman Reigns. He has lost multiple times and has not proved his worth. If anybody has the guts to confront Lesnar, it is John Cena. Cena has faced and defeated almost every superstar he came across. A fight between them would cause fresh contents and story-lines.
Also, if Cena wins the title, he would become the wrestler to have ever won the maximum number of World Championships in WWE. He deserves this respect and he should be provided with a one-on-one match against Brock Lesnar. Cena's days are numbered in WWE, thus before leaving, he should be granted this opportunity.
At present, the Universal title has lost its importance because Brock Lesnar is highly irregular. If Cena captures the gold, he has the ability to deliver the best promos in all of sports entertainment. Thus, he should rightfully be crowned as the next Champion.
Also, a rivalry between Cena and Lesnar would be beneficial from WWE's viewpoint. They both can sell arenas and can main-event and headline PPV's. Cena is a fighting Champion and he can deliver high-voltage matches.
Thus, if we look at the above points and analyze the current situation, the first name that comes to our mind to replace Lesnar as the Universal Champion is John Cena. If this turns out to be a reality, it would be very satisfying for the entire WWE Universe. Fans across the globe would love to see this happen.
