Joel Embiid Should be Considered an MVP Candidate
It is only January and a lot of people are talking about either James Harden or Giannis Antetokounmpo to win the MVP, but what about Joel Embiid?
The WWE may have never had the amount of talent they have now in both the men and women's division. Removing brand split PPVs opens up even more possibilities for PPV matches. Money in the Bank was very well done and I enjoyed the PPV. In this article, I will look at some possible feuds WWE could have heading towards SummerSlam and even WrestleMania.
Alexa Bliss vs Ronda Rousey for the Raw Woman's Title
This feud seems relatively obvious after what occurred at MITB and the Raw after MITB. Alexa Bliss attacked Ronda Rousey and cost her the Woman's Title and cashed in her briefcase to win the title at MITB and the next night on Raw, Rousey attacked Bliss and Kurt Angle. This lead to her being suspended for 30 days but is a perfect setup for her challenging little Miss Bliss at SummerSlam for the title. This feud should be a great build up with Bliss being fantastic on the mic and Rousey not caring and going after anyone. Bliss is the better choice than Nia Jax to hold the title at a big event like SummerSlam and having Rousey possibly winning the title.
Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose
In a shocking event, Seth Rollins lost his Intercontinental Title to Dolph Ziggler on the Raw following MITB. Dean Ambrose is scheduled to come back at any time and there are rumours he will turn heel and attack Rollins. Ambrose could be in line for a good heel push once he returns and what a better way to set that up than have him feud with Rollins at SummerSlam. Rollins is one of the most, if not the most over guy right now in WWE and this could be a great feud with Ambrose playing a great heel. I would be very excited about this feud and hope it happens with a match at SummerSlam.
The Miz vs Daniel Bryan
This feud has been stemming for a long time and it is a matter of time before we get to see this feud. I think one of the main reasons for sending Miz to SmackDown was having him feud with Daniel Bryan at either SummerSlam or WrestleMania. Bryan tweeted a reply to Miz going to SmackDown on Twitter by saying “How long have I waited to #PunchHisFace?!!!“. Miz went off on Bryan in an episode of Talking Smack which lead to Bryan leaving the set. I really thought Miz was going to win the briefcase at MITB to set up a feud at WrestleMania with Bryan for the title. This can still happen but a title does not need to be involved to make this feud intriguing. Miz is one of the best ever on the mic and Bryan is loved among WWE fans.
John Cena vs The Undertaker
This feud has not been rumored like the others above have been but it kind of makes sense for a WrestleMania rematch. Last year's match at WrestleMania had no build up with The Undertaker not showing up on Raw at all before Mania. John Cena will want a rematch after getting beat pretty easily by the Deadman. This feud if done correctly and have Taker actually show up for a few Raw events before Mania can be a great build up with two of the best ever in WWE history.
Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar
With Braun Strowman winning the MITB briefcase, this sets up for a great SummerSlam feud and I think the briefcase will be booked differently with Strowman having it. It does not fit his character to “cash in” at an opportune time like all other briefcase winners. I think what Strowman will do is just use the briefcase for a match at SummerSlam against Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title. It is rumored Lesnar is set to leave after SummerSlam and there may not be a better person to finally take the title off the beast than the monster. Hopefully WWE decides to have this feud at SummerSlam instead of Reigns vs Lesnar once again. It is time for Strowman to win the Universal Title.
