The Philadelphia Eagles set the tone early in the game when Kamu Grugier-Hill picked off Eli Manning and it set up the Eagles in good field position. On the ensuing drive for the Eagles, Carson Wentz scrambled on a third down play and found wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey for a 13-yard touchdown and it gave Philadelphia a 7-0 lead early. The Philadelphia Eagles would cruise to a 34-13 victory over the New York Giants.

Wentz completed 26-of-36 passes for 278 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 14 yards on two carries.

With Philadelphia leading 7-3 in the first, Corey Clement scored on a 1-yard touchdown run. Clement finished with 43 rushing yards on 11 carries and a score. Running back Saquon Barkley was the lone stud for the New York Giants on the night. He scored on a 50-yard touchdown run in the third. Barkley finished with 130 rushing yards on 13 carries and a score. He also had nine catches for 99 yards receiving.

Odell Beckham Jr. continued to show his frustration on his sideline. Eli Manning struggled all game long. He completed 24-of-43 passes for 281 yards and one interception. They look lifeless and they need a massive spark. The New York Giants (1-5) should start rookie Kyle Lauletta next Monday night on the road against the Atlanta Falcons (1-4).

The Philadelphia Eagles (3-3) will be host the Carolina Panthers (3-1) next Sunday.
