The Golden State Warriors are having an identity crisis after Kevin Durant and Draymond Green got into a heated argument during the last few second of a game.
World Wrestling Entertainment has several special kinds of matches, which has unique stipulations. One such match is the 'I Quit' match. These matches are career altering in nature but is rewarding in nature. Usually wrestlers who compete in this kind of competitions leave an everlasting impact on the WWE Universe.To win the match, one needs to annihilate his opponent and make him utter 'I Quit'. 5. The Rock vs Triple H- RAW, JAN 25, 1999- WWE Championship
This was one of the most dangerous match in both the players career. Rock defeated Mankind a night ago in a controversial fashion in an I Quit match to win the WWF title. He did the same next night on RAW against Triple H. The match lasted for nearly 10 minutes and was thoroughly enjoyed by the WWE Universe.Both the players did everything possible to wear the Championship belt. In the end, however, Rock had the last laugh. He used his wrestling skills to incapacitate Triple H and made him say 'I Quit'. Rock thus retained the Championship.
4. John Cena vs JBL- Judgement Day 2005, WWE Championship
John Cena and Jbl were rivals back then in 2005. They both feuded for the WWE title. JBL challenged Cena for his WWE Championship. In the beginning, JBL hit Cena with a chair and Cena started bleeding. He kept on attacking Cena and delivered several special maneuvers upon him.
Cena did recover and fought back. He threw JBL in the Television Monitor and made him bleed. Both these wrestlers were doing anything and everything to cling on to the WWE title. Cena decided to squash him with a pipe, when JBL finally said 'I Quit'. Cena still attacked him, ended the rivalry and retained the WWE Championship.
3. Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy- BackLash 2009
Matt and Jeff Hardy, who are real life brothers, were also involved in an I Quit match. Both of them attacked each other with heavy shots and submissions to incapacitate one another. They showed the amount of violence, even step borthers would not do, let alone blood related ones.
In the end, Jeff placed Matt on a table and was about to jump upon him from the top of a ladder. Matt Hardy finally uttered 'I Quit' and Jeff Hardy won the match.This ended their rivalry, however, Jeff Hardy still jumped upon Matt Hardy.
2. John Cena vs Batista- WWE Championship, Over the Limit 2010
This was a match between two of WWE's all time greatest performers. Cena and Batista were feuding over the WWE Championship. The bell rang, and it was all love lost for both the performers. Batista performed a submission hold over Cena, which he countered with the STF. Both the players kept beating the hell out of one another, but neither of them were ready to quit.
Cena finally performed the AA upon Batista from the car. However, Batista stil didn't want to quit. Cena decided to perform the same thing again, when finally Batista uttered 'I Quit'. Cena won the match but still delivered the AA. He thus retained his Championship.
1. John Cena vs Randy Orton- WWE Championship, Breaking Point 2009
John Cena and Randy Orton had an unforgettable rivalry in the WWE. These two performers have inflicted the maximum pain upon one another. At the Breaking Point PPV in 2009, they squared off in an I Quit match for the WWE Championship. Orton started the match by hitting Cena with a computer monitor. He unleashed his vicious attack and was absolutely unstoppable.
He handcuffed Cena and hit him with sticks. Cena was almost in a state to quit. However, he is a fighter and countered Orton with an STF with the Cuffs upon Orton. Orton tried to get the keys, but failed and finally said 'I Quit'. Orton lost the title and Cena became the champ again.
